Visual Meeting &
Communication

"Turn your business meetings into creative and productive events"

Course Background

Meetings that utilise visual assistance are referred to as "visual meetings. Make a Visual Meeting if you're planning a gathering of individuals to (co-)create, discuss, or simply toss ideas around.

Moreover, doing this is really simple. Instead of using flip charts with text like you normally would, start employing models, maps, and other visual aids. Use images created by participants to create sessions that are very engaging. Ideas can be brought to life, overviews can be made, group emotions can be better understood, and many other things can be done. Every company has a unique set of options for enhancing meetings' visual components.

Making meetings more visual and participatory may make them much more successful, efficient, and enjoyable.

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this course, you will be able to

● Implement visual recording in a meeting to immediately acknowledge that

someone was heard and how they were heard in ways that verbal

   communication alone does not.

● Work visually that is deeply integrative – it combines both visual (right brain)

and verbal (left brain) ways of operating with interaction and physical

   movement.

● Complement graphic displays that can contain contradictory information on

the same sheet of paper, softening the either/or thinking that our spoken

   language reinforces.

● Work with graphic metaphors that allows people to talk directly about how

they are making sense of things.

● Work with visual imagery to taps people’s imagined realms, making the stuff of

hopes and dreams, intentions, and visions more accessible.

● Arrange information on pages or wall displays addresses not only the

individual words and symbols, but also their overall interconnections and

   organization.

● Translate from spoken word to visual representation that encourages everyone

to become conscious of the patterns in both.
